1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the LIFE IP RESTART Circular Materials Marketplace ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Platform description

The Platform is an online marketplace connecting producers, holders, and end-users of secondary construction materials within the Italy–Slovenia cross-border region. It is developed within the framework of the LIFE IP RESTART project, co-funded by the European Union's LIFE programme.

Key services include:

  • Publishing and browsing marketplace listings for recycled and reused construction materials
  • Viewing and comparing Digital Product Passports (DPP) for registered materials
  • Contacting material holders directly through the built-in messaging system
  • Side-by-side comparison of up to four material listings

3. User accounts

Certain features of the Platform require registration. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account.

4. Listing and material information

Material holders are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in their listings, including but not limited to: material descriptions, quantities, quality test results, certifications, and Digital Product Passport data.

The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any listed material. Buyers are advised to conduct independent verification before purchasing.

5. Digital Product Passports

Digital Product Passports (DPP) published on the Platform are provided by the material holder. While the Platform facilitates standardised data presentation, it does not independently verify or certify DPP contents. DPP data is provided on an "as is" basis.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, and technology of the Platform are the property of the LIFE IP RESTART consortium and Action C9 platform developers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Privacy and data protection

Personal data collected through the Platform is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national legislation. Contact information shared between users through the listing contact forms is used solely for material transaction purposes.

8. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The LIFE IP RESTART consortium, its partners, and the platform developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or reliance on any material listing information.

9. Applicable law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Slovenia and the Italian Republic, as applicable to the respective parties in the cross-border context of the LIFE IP RESTART project.
